MEN'S BASKETBALL
Elson Pickering
Junior, Forward - Brooklyn, NY/Frederick Douglas Academy

- Elson Pickering was picked for the Casella Waste Services North Country Tip-Off Classic All-Tournament team after nearly posting back-to-back double-doubles. For the weekend he averaged 11.5 points, 10.5 rebounds and 4.0 blocks per game.

 

WOMEN'S BASKETBALL
Sierra Noles
Freshman, Guard - Averill Park, NY/Averill Park

Selected as the Liberty League Rookie of the Week, Sierra Noles became the first Clarkson freshman to score more than 20 points in a game in four years when she tallied 22 points on 9-for-14 shooting against Webster University. She leads the team in scoring through two games this season.two power-play scores and set up two other goals in Saturday's 4-2 win over the Bears.  

 

WOMEN'S SWIMMING
Katherine Gawrys
Junior, - Ballston Spa, NY/Ballston Spa

Katherine Gawrys, who was selected the Liberty League Female Swimmer of the Week, won a pair of individual events at the five-team North Country Invitational, claiming first in the 200 freestyle and 200 butterfly. Gawrys won the 200 freestyle by more than three seconds and then won the 200 fly by just under four seconds.
 

 

MEN'S SWIMMING
Matt Ulsh
Junior  - Rochester, MN/Mayo

- Matt Ulsh, who was picked as Liberty League Male Co-Swimmer of the Week, won both the 100 butterfly and 200 butterfly events among five teams competing at the North Country Invitational. He won the 100 fly with a time of 56.86 and then dominated the field in the 200 butterfly with a time of 2:09.53, more than 10 seconds better than the rest of the competition.
 

 

WOMEN'S HOCKEY
Britney Selina
Sophomore, Forward - Thornhill, ONT/Etobicoke Dolphins 
-  Britney Selina, the Golden Knights’ leading scorer tallied two goals and one assist a Clarkson tied and defeated No. 2/2 ranked Mercyhurst over the weekend. In Friday’s 2-2 draw, she set-up the first goal and then recorded an unassisted goal for Clarkson’s second goal. In Saturday’s 3-2 win, she scored with just 55 seconds left in the first

 

 

MEN'S HOCKEY
Chris D'Alvise
Junior, Center - Mississauga, ONT/Wexford Raiders
Chris D'Alvise played a key role in Clarkson's weekend sweep at Cheel Arena, figuring in all five of the Golden Knights' goals in the wins over Yale and Brown. In Friday's 1-0 victory over the Bulldogs, D'Alvise set up the lone goal. He then tallied two power-play scores and set up two other goals in Saturday's 4-2 win over the Bears.
