MEN'S BASKETBALL
Elson Pickering
Junior, Forward - Brooklyn, NY

Elson Pickering recorded his third straight 20-point game, producing career-highs with 27 points and 14 rebounds in Clarkson's lone game of the weekend. He shot 12-for-17 from the field and was also 2-for-3 from beyond the 3-point arc. He was named Liberty League Forward of the Week.

 

WOMEN'S HOCKEY
Melissa Waldie
Freshman, Forward - Newmarket, ONT

Melissa Waldie, the Knights’ top goal scorer, recorded a natural hat rick, including two power-play tallies, in Friday’s victory over the Bulldogs. In Saturday’s 2-1 win over the Bears, Waldie helped to set up the game-winner. Through18 games, Waldie has 16 points, including a team-high 11 goals. She was named ECAC Hockey Rookie of the Week.

 

WOMEN'S SWIMMING
Kristen Larsen
Senior - Fort Edwards, NY

Kristen Larsen, the Knights top finisher in the 38 events at the Liberty League Championships was Larsen, who competed in a pair of breaststroke events. Larsen claimed 5th place in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:12.34, just off the school's top pace. Larsen also finished inside the top 10 with an 8th place showing in the 200 breaststroke to highlight the women's events.

 

MEN'S SWIMMING
Corey Van Woert
Junior - Binghamton, NY

Corey Van Woert, was in the top 16 in three events, but more importantly he was inside the top eight in two of those events, finishing 6th overall in the 50 freestyle with a time of 22.71, and 8th in the 100 freestyle with a mark of 50.35. He also finished 15th in the 200 freestyle.

 

MEN'S HOCKEY
Grant Clitsome
Senior, Defense - Gloucester, ONT

Grant Clitsome scored both Clarkson’s goals, each on the power play, in Saturday’s game at St. Lawrence for his first goals of the season.
