Alpine Skiing
Meghan Cleason
Sophomore - Canandaigua, NY

 Meghan Cleason won both the slalom and giant slalom events to cruise the overall combined title at the USMA invitational over the weekend at Windham Mountain.

 

Nordic Skiing
Chelsea Reynolds
Senior, Endicott, NY

 Chelsea Reynolds had the top women's time in the classic event at the Clarkson Invitational at 40:12 over the 10k course. She also paced the Golden Knight women in the freestyle sprints with a 3rd-place time of 3:27.0.

 

Women's Basketball
Carey Turner
Freshman, Guard/Forward - Clifton Park, NY

 Carey Turner twice fell just one rebound short of a double-double this past week, averaging 15.3 points, 7.7 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game for Clarkson. She reached double figures in each of the three games (14,16,16) and also averaged 2.3 steals per game. Turner was named Liberty League Rookie of the Week.

 

Men's Basketball
Brandon Linton
Junior, Guard - Queens, NY

 Brandon Linton consistently produced solid all-around games, averaging 13.0 points, 5.0 assists, and 2.0 blocks per game, as well as averaging 3.0 rebounds and 1.0 steals per contest. Saturday was his most impressive game with 16 points, 7 assists, and 3 blocks.

 

Women's Hockey
Melissa Waldie
Sophomore, Forward - Newmarket, ONT

Melissa Waldie tallied four points in three games last week, helping Clarkson to two victories. She netted the game-winners in the 2-1 triumph over 6th-ranked St. Lawrence and in the 6-0 shutout over Union. Waldie also recorded an assist in both wins.

 

Men's Hockey
Matt Beca
Junior, Forward - Mississauga, ONT

Last year’s leading scorer, Matt Beca is returning to form and played a key role in the Knights’ success against archrival St. Lawrence over the weekend. He sparked the Green and Gold’s comeback against the Saints Friday with two second-period goals to help Clarkson overcome a 2-0 first-period deficit in the 3-3 tie on the road. In Saturday’s 3-1 victory at Cheel Arena, Beca helped to set up the Knights’ opening goal early in the first period to set the stage for Clarkson’s first win over St. Lawrence in five games.
