AT CLARKSON (2003-07)—The only Golden Knight to play in every one of the first 140 games of the Clarkson Women's Hockey program ... One of 12 seniors in Clarkson’s Class of 2007 that formed the cornerstone of the Clarkson University Women’s Hockey program … Helped to lead the Golden Knights to three winning campaigns in four seasons and to the ECACHL playoffs in all three years of eligibility … The Green and Gold compiled 69 total victories with Emma playing a key role in Clarkson’s success.

 

Four Years That Will Last a Lifetime

SENIOR YEAR (2006-07)—For the fourth straight year, played in every Clarkson game … Was honored with Clarkson’s Coaches Award … Made the successful switch to defense this year after playing the majority of her first three seasons up front … Played in all 36 games, recording two assists … Named to the ECACHL All-Academic Team.

JUNIOR YEAR (2005-06)—Served as an assistant captain on Clarkson’s nationally-ranked squad, which skated to a 22-14-1 overall record and a third-place tie in the ECACHL with a 12-8 league mark ... Played in all 37 games, scoring four goals and two assists … Posted a +3 plus/minus rating and was whistled for only four minutes in penalties for the season … Played a key role on Clarkson’s NCAA top-rated penalty-killing unit (107-115, 93%) ... Recorded Clarkson’s second goal, a power-play marker, in 2-0 win at Yale (2/17) … Also scored in 3-0 win over Cornell (1/21) … Sealed the Knights’ 4-2 victory over Providence (11/6) with an empty-net tally … Netted Clarkson’s lone goal in 3-1 loss at #1-ranked St. Lawrence (11/30) … Named to ECACHL All-Academic team.

SOPHOMORE YEAR (2004-05)—Solid two-way forward with a knack for strong play in front of the net … Tallied 10 points on four goals and six assists … Set up two goals in 3-3 tie at Providence (11/6) … Closed out regular season with one goal and one assist in 4-1 victory at Cornell … Selected to the league’s weekly Honor Roll once (11/9) … Named to the ECACHL All-Academic team.

FRESHMAN YEAR (2003-04)—The Knights’ top scorer down the stretch with 16 of her 17 points in the final 14 games … Finished as Clarkson’s fifth-leading scorer with nine goals and eight assists … Tallied a season-high three points in wins over Utica (1/20), including two goals, and Plattsburgh (1/24) … Tied for second on the team in power-play goals with five … Recorded two game-winning goals … First collegiate point was an assist in 11-1 win over Colby (12/6) … Scored her first collegiate goal in 3-0 victory at Wayne State (1/5).

BEFORE CLARKSON—Entered Clarkson with eight years of experience … Attended Our Lady of Mount Carmel Secondary School where she played for the varsity hockey team and achieved academic honor roll all four years … Won OFSAA Gold Medal for hockey … Assistant Captain of 2003 Intermediate AA Brampton Junior Thunder … In 1999, led Mississauga Chiefs to Ontario Provincial Gold Medal.
