Providing impressive individual efforts all season long for the Clarkson University Men's Lacrosse team, senior Greg Lamb (Baldwinsville, NY) and junior Greg Gibbons (Baldwinsville, NY) earned further notice beyond league all-star recognition on Tuesday when they were both named to the Graph-Tex Division III New York State All-Star squad.

Lamb, who was chosen as the NYS First-Team goaltender, also earned the honor from the Liberty League unanimously. Lamb won nine games for the Golden Knights in 2008, posting 7.16 goals against average and a ridiculous .654 save percentage that ranked among the national leaders all season long. Lamb made 172 saves on the season and scooped up 29 groundballs. He was named the conference's defensive player of the week on four occasions in 2008.

Gibbons, who was picked as one of three attackmen on the NYS Second-Team, led the Golden Knights in scoring for the third consecutive season, producing 28 goals and 19 assists for 47 points, which ranked third in the Liberty League this season. His goals, assists, and points per game ratios all ranked among the conference leaders. Gibbons also became just the eighth player in Clarkson history to score 100 career goals when he tallied two scores in the final game of the season against Union. His 156 career points have him tied for ninth all-time at Clarkson, and he is just 44 points away from becoming only the fourth player ever to score 200 in a career at the University.
