Leave No Trace Outdoor Ethics
The leave no trace course is a shortened version of the Master Educator course. Students receive introductory training in Leave No Trace skills and ethics in a classroom format. The Trainer Course assists students in learning the seven principles of Leave No Trace and techniques for teaching these low impact skills. This course is designed for those interested in education, guiding, agency employment, and other outdoor professions. Successful graduates of the Trainer Course gain the skills to teach Leave No Trace techniques and ethics to their clients, friends and family. Participants learn the concepts of Leave No Trace and prepare to teach Leave No Trace curriculum in a variety of settings-schools, camps, parks, wilderness and front country areas. For more information please visit the Leave No Trace website at www.lnt.org, or email the Outdoor Recreation Director Micaela Holland at outdoors@clarkson.edu.
