Winners of seven of its last eight games, the Clarkson University Women’s Hockey team will look to continue its late season surge into the postseason as the Golden Knights open up the ECAC Hockey playoffs by hosting Quinnipiac. The Knights will battle the Bobcats in a best-of-three-game quarterfinal series at Cheel Arena this weekend. Friday's game is a 7:00 p.m. faceoff and Saturday's contest is slated for a 4:00 p.m. start. If necessary, the two ECAC rivals will play on Sunday at 4:00 p.m. to determine who will move on to the semifinal round.

A three-point weekend in the final ECAC Hockey regular season games at Cheel Arena has boosted the Clarkson University Hockey team into fourth place in the league standings with two games remaining on the schedule. The Golden Knights will look to lock up a top-four position and gain the first-round bye in the upcoming conference playoffs that comes with it when they travel to New England this weekend. Clarkson faces Dartmouth at Thompson Arena in Hanover, NH on Friday in a 7:30 p.m. face-off, and then battles Harvard at Bright Hockey Center in Cambridge, MA on Saturday to at 7:00 p.m.

It has been one month to the day since the last time that the Clarkson University Swim team competed in its final dual meets of the season. Since beating Utica and Cazenovia on January 21st, the Golden Knights have been training in preparation for their biggest annual event, the UNYSCSA Championships, which will be held over the next four days at the Webster Aquatics Complex.
