In a season with plenty of impressive candidates, senior David Kinney and freshman John Coleman walked away with the Liberty League Player of the Year and Liberty League Rookie of the Year awards, respectively, for the Clarkson University Baseball team as the conference's all-star honors were announced on Wednesday.

Needing to win two games and get some help from another conference opponent, the Clarkson University Baseball team came up short against St. Lawrence on Sunday afternoon, falling to the Saints 6-5 and 13-1 as their season ended at Tom Fay Field.

Needing a win in the second game of Saturday's doubleheader, sophomore righty Pete Roma pitched eight strong innings to put the Clarkson University Baseball team in a position to win, and the Golden Knights did just that, scoring once in the bottom of the eighth to take game two 5-4 after losing the first game 11-6 at Jack Phillips Stadium.
