Thanks to hard work on the court and in the classroom, senior Heather Sill (Mendon, NY) has been selected to the 2003 CoSIDA Academic All-District 1 All-America Second-Team for volleyball. A four-year standout at offensive hitter for the Clarkson University Volleyball team, Sill was named to the second-team with a 3.71 GPA in Business.

Sill, a three-time UCAA All-Academic and UCAA All-Conference selection, became Clarkson's all-time leader in kills and also set the single-season mark for kills (381) this past weekend at the Upstate Collegiate Athletic Association (UCAA) Championships. With a 28-10 record, the Golden Knights will participate in the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Upstate Championships this weekend. The 28 wins and .737 winning percentage are both the best marks in team history.

Sill was one of only two players from the UCAA to be selected to the District 1 Academic All-America Team.
