After nearly having the game end twice in the final minutes on close scoring opportunities by the Clarkson University Women's Soccer team, Jodi Ziemba scored on a fast break with a shot that was chipped over Clarkson goalie Lauren Arredondo (Allendale, NJ) with just 34.8 seconds remaining in the second overtime as Potsdam State stunned the Golden Knights 2-1 at Clarkson Field.

The Golden Knights outshot Potsdam 17-7 and had a 5-1 advantage in cornerkicks, but mustered only one goal. Jennifer Urquhart (Portland, ME) scored on a low kick to the left side of the goaltender with just 2:45 remaining in regulation to tie the score 1-1 for Clarkson, her fourth goal of the season. Kristin Lorence (South Berlin, NY) recorded her first assist of the season on Urquhart's goal.

Erin Blandin tallied her fourth goal of the season to lead off the scoring at the 78:07 mark in the second half. Alex Brown assisted on both of Potsdam's goals.

The win was Potsdam's first victory over Clarkson since 1997 and the Bears had been outscored 15-0 in the previous five meetings versus the Golden Knights.

Clarkson returns to action at 2:00 p.m. this Saturday when they host RIT at Clarkson Field.
