Saratoga Springs, NY - After taking a 10-0 lead in the opening minutes, the Clarkson University Women's Basketball team's shooting touch went cold against Skidmore College, as the Golden Knights fell 43-33 in a Liberty League contest Friday night.

The Golden Knights dropped to 4-20 overall and 1-12 in conference play, while Skidmore improved to 9-15 and 3-10. Clarkson closes the regular season against Union College tomorrow afternoon.

Senior point guard Linda Fernandez (Kennebunkport, ME) scored eight points, grabbed six rebounds and made five steals, surpassing 100 for the season and setting a new single-season mark at Clarkson. Sophomore Sarah Wesner (Sidney, NY) also added eight points and contributed nine rebounds.
