GRIGG and DUFFY LIFT CLARKSON to SECOND WIN

For the second straight game junior midfielder Lindsey Grigg (Watertown, NY) powered the Clarkson University Women's Lacrosse team to its second straight win with a four-goal effort as the Golden Knights defeated Oswego State 7-5 on Friday morning in the final game of their spring trip to Florida.
Grigg also scored four times in Wednesday's 9-8 overtime victory against Colby-Sawyer in Wellington, FL.
Clarkson jumped out to a 4-1 lead at the half against Oswego and then held off the Lakers in the final 45 minutes behind a 17-save outing from junior goaltender Erin Duffy (Liverpool, NY).
Senior Lindsay Roberts (Averill Park, NY) scored twice for the Green and Gold, while freshman Alyssa Breed (Macedon, NY) chipped in one goal. Sophomore Alicia Chace (Cortland, NY) tallied one assist.
Clarkson returns to New York State with a 2-1 record and will host the University of Rochester in its next game on March 24.
