Hanlon Gains All-America Honors

Add another prestigious honor to the resume of Clarkson University Lacrosse standout Brian Hanlon. A senior attackman for the Golden Knights, Hanlon was named a United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) All-America, earning honorable mention recognition on the 2006 all-star team.
 
A native of Marcellus, NY, Hanlon was earlier named Liberty League Player of the Year. The leading scorer in conference play this spring, Hanlon racked up 26 goals and 34 points in six league games. He had seven-goal performances against Hamilton and Union, and scored five times in the regular-season finale win against Skidmore which clinched a playoff berth for the Golden Knights. Hanlon was a three-time selection as Liberty League Offensive Performer of the Week this season. Hanlon was also named a First-Team All-League attackman. He scored 50 points overall in 15 games on 37 goals and 13 assists.
 
Hanlon is the 19th Clarkson Lacrosse player in the program’s history to have gained All-America accolades.
