Add another prestigious honor to the resume of Clarkson University Lacrosse standout Greg Lamb. A senior goaltender for the Golden Knights, Lamb was named a United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) All-America, earning third team recognition on the 2008 all-star team.
A native of Baldwinsville, NY, Lamb was earlier chosen as the Graph-Tex Division III NYS First-Team Goaltender, and also earned first—team honors from the Liberty League unanimously. He was also selected to participate in the prestigious USILA North/South Senior Division III All-Star Game.
Lamb won nine games for the Golden Knights in 2008, posting 7.16 goals against average and an impressive.654 save percentage that ranked among the national leaders all season long. Lamb made 172 saves on the season and scooped up 29 groundballs. He was named the conference's defensive player of the week on four occasions in 2008.
Lamb is the 20th Clarkson Lacrosse player in the program’s history to have gained All-America accolades.
