Pittsford, NY - Despite an overwhelming advantage in shots, the Clarkson University Women's Soccer team came up empty on the road, settling for a 0-0 tie against St. John Fisher College Saturday afternoon.
The Golden Knights moved to 2-9-2 overall with the tie, while St. John Fisher held steady at 5-7-2. Clarkson returns to action next weekend at Liberty League foes Rensselaer and Vassar.
Clarkson had a significant advantage in shots (11-2) as the defense played well in limiting the Cardinals chances. However, the Knights' own chances didn't amount to much either as the team was held without a goal for the eighth time this year.
Junior Stephanie Collins (Colton, NY) made one save for the shutout for the Knights. St. John Fisher's Ashley Martin made six saves.
