Parnett Picked for Conference Weekly Honor

One of only two swimmers to win individual honors in the meet this weekend, freshman Sean Parnett (Clifton Park, NY) of the Clarkson University Men's Swim team was named Liberty League Rookie of the Week on Monday.
Parnett, who shared the honor with a swimmer from Vassar, won the 200 butterfly in a time of 2:06.24, taking 12 points off his seeding time in the event to take first at the seven-team North Country Invitational. The time was all the more impressive considering the Knights haven't raced competitively in nearly a month.
