Sophomore Nate Hazen was named as a conference all-star on Thursday.

Juniors Scott Desmond (Enfield, CT) and Mark Secko (Shoreham, NY) and sophomore Nate Hazen (Dalton, MA) each earned all-star nods for the Clarkson University Men's Soccer team Thursday, representing the Golden Knights on the Liberty League All-Star Team.

Desmond, picked as a Liberty League Second-Team All-Star for the second year in a row, was the top vote-getter for Clarkson. The junior midfielder led the team with four assists to go along with a goal for six points. Desmond was also recently picked as an ESPN The Magazine/CoSIDA Academic All-American for the Northeast Region and has an excellent shot at claiming a spot on the National Academic All-American team.

Secko and Hazen were each selected as Liberty League Honorable Mention All-Stars. Secko, a junior transfer in his first year at Clarkson, led the Golden Knights with six goals and 14 total points, ranking among the top 10 in the conference in goals and points. Hazen, a sophomore midfielder, was second on the team in scoring with four goals and three assists for 11 points.
