Carlee Eusepi became the latest Clarkson University Women’s Hockey standout to earn honors this season when she was selected as ECAC Hockey’s Player of the Week. Clarkson has claimed the first six ECAC Player of the Week awards with five different Golden Knights gaining the honor.

Clarkson’s assistant captain, Eusepi (Oakville, ONT) played a leading role in helping the Green and Gold to seven straight wins after the weekend sweep of Harvard (2-1) and Dartmouth (3-1) on the road. The senior defenseman scored her second straight game-winning goal in Friday's 2-1 win at 10th-ranked Harvard and set up the deciding score in the 3-1 win at Dartmouth on Saturday. Along with leading Clarkson in scoring from the blueline with eight points on three goals and five assists, Eusepi anchors the Knights’ defensive effort, which ranks second in the nation (1.15 GPG), allowing only 20 shots per game.

Ranked second in the nation in the latest USCHO.com Poll, Clarkson owns an 11-1-1 overall record and stands alone if first place in the ECAC Hockey standings with a 5-0-0 league mark. The Knights play at Central New York rivals Cornell and Colgate this weekend.
