Rochester, NY – Through the first 10 events of the annual Liberty League Swimming and Diving Championships, the Clarkson University Swim team has posted three top-10 finishes in the first of three sessions over the next two days.

In the early going, the Clarkson men rank fifth with 113 points while the women are eighth.

Sophomore Mike Rowe (Glenville, NY) has the best finish for the Golden Knights thus far, placing sixth in the 500 freestyle with a time of 5:01.76. Touching the pad just after him in the same event was freshman Sean Parnett (Clifton Park, NY), who finished in 5:02.11

Senior Bob Stevens (Lakewood, NY) is the other top-10 finisher for the Knights, as he came in ninth in the 50 freestyle in 22.78 seconds.
