The Clarkson University Women’s Hockey team is excited to announce that they will be hosting the first annual Golden Knights Girls Summer Hockey Camp from June 28-July 2, 2009.

The camp will be directed by Co-Head Coaches Shannon Desrosiers and Matt Desrosiers, along with Assistant Coach (and Goalie Coach) Matt Kelly, and Volunteer Assistant Coach Lindsay Williams. Current and past Golden Knights will also be counseling and coaching the campers.

Athletes will benefit from two on-ice sessions per day as well as off-ice conditioning, activities, and classroom sessions discussing fundamentals of the game, nutrition, proper fitness training techniques, and information on the college recruiting process.

The mission of the Clarkson Girls Hockey Camp is to provide young hockey players with the skills necessary to improve their performance both on and off the ice as a student athlete and to help them understand what it takes to play at the college level.
