Several Clarkson University Athletic teams received a boost to their programs with the recent completion of the artificial playing surface at Hantz Field.

The installation of the new artificial turf field, designed by QPK Architects, is the first phase of the Hantz Field project. Along with the best in class artificial turf field, field lights and fencing have also been installed. The turf field measures 285' x 400'.

The second phase includes a grandstand/press box with tiered bleachers to accommodate seating for 500 spectators, as well as landscaping, sidewalks, and upgrades to the West Walker Center Parking lot. 

The construction of the turf field not only supports the Golden Knights Lacrosse and Soccer teams, but also other varsity and intramural teams, clubs and community programs, and University recreational activities.
