Tedesco Claims Individual Medalist Honors at Potsdam-Clarkson Challenge
Senior shoots 73 on home course for first place

Potsdam, NY - With a scorching back nine, senior Jon Tedesco (Clifton Park, NY) shot a one-over par 73 to win the individual title for the Clarkson University Golf team at the Potsdam-Clarkson Challenge Tuesday afternoon at the Potsdam Town and Country Club.
Potsdam State claimed the team title with a score of 304. St. Lawrence followed at 306, with Clarkson (310) and Oswego State (327) rounding out the four teams.
Tedesco finished a single stroke ahead of Potsdam's Benton Sullivan to win the top honor, but the Bears were consistent in their team score with four of the top five shooting 78 or better.
Freshman Matt Ramsey (Somers, CT) was the next top finisher for the Knights with a 77. Sophomore Brendan LaFleur (Sandown, NH) shot a 78 and Nick Triasi (Rochester, NY) rounded out the scorers for the Knights with an 82. Tim Shanahan (Baldwinsville, NY) scored an 89 to finish off the five golfers for the Knights.
