Rowe Named Liberty League Swimmer of the Week

Sophomore Mike Rowe (Glenville, NY) of the Clarkson Men's Swimming team showed that six weeks off wasn't a problem as he gained Liberty League Swimmer of the Week honors for his performance at RPI's Kumpf Invitational.
Rowe, who shared the honor with a swimmer from Rensselaer, won the 200 backstroke with a time of 1:57.33 and then placed second in the 200 freestyle in 1:49.17. He also swam on the 400 freestyle relay team which finished fourth. Clarkson came in fourth among seven teams at the event.
