Reddinger Grabs Liberty League Weekly Honor

Not surprisingly, after breaking two school records and posting a huge week in conference play, senior Michelle Reddinger (Baldwinsville, NY) of the Clarkson University Women's Basketball team was named Liberty League Forward of the Week on Monday.
Reddinger, who also won the honor in late-November, had an impressive week despite three losses by her team. Through three contests, Reddinger averaged 26.3 points per game and 10.7 rebounds per game, all while shooting 66.7 percent (34-for-51) from the field.
Against St. Lawrence, Reddinger scored a single-game school-record 39 points, including 25 in the second half, almost single-handedly keeping the Golden Knights within striking distance of the Saints. She shot 16-for-21 in the game, setting a school mark for field goals made in a contest as well.
Over the weekend, Reddinger added 18 points and 9 rebounds against Skidmore, and 22 points and 13 rebounds versus Union.
