Sophomore Bryan Huff (Hillsborough, NJ) figured in on all of the Golden Knights’ scoring with three goals and one assist in the Clarkson University’s Men’s Lacrosse team’s 13-4 loss at Rochester Institute of Technology on Wednesday afternoon.
RIT (5-2), which won its fifth straight game, broke open a close game in the first quarter with four straight goals in the second quarter leading 7-2 at the half. The Tigers scored twice in the third quarter and added four more goals in the fourth while holding Clarkson to two second-half goals.
RIT out shot Clarkson 53-21 and won the ground ball battle 45-23. Sophomore Ryan Esposito (Nanuet, NY) scored the Knights’ other goal. Mike Barilla led RIT with three goals. Huff picked up a team-high four ground balls for the Green and Gold.
Freshman Kyle Hohmann (Rochester, NY) took the loss in the Knights’ goal making 12 saves.
At 0-6, Clarkson plays at Geneseo State on Saturday afternoon, beginning at 2:00 p.m.
