Hanover, NH - With just over a minute remaining in overtime, junior Juana Baribeau (Amos, QUE) slipped a puck into the back of the net to lift the Clarkson University Women's Hockey team to a 3-2 victory over ECAC Hockey foe Dartmouth Friday night.

The Golden Knights ended a four-game losing streak, pushing their record to 7-12-3 overall and 4-5-1 in league games. Dartmouth dropped to 9-7 and 6-5. Clarkson looks to continue its winning ways Saturday at Harvard University.

Following a scoreless first period, there was plenty of action in the second period. Dartmouth got things started with a power play goal in the first minute, but Clarkson quickly responded with pair of goals less than three minutes apart. Junior Gabrielle Kosziwka (Limehouse, ONT) scored her second collegiate goal at the 6:08 mark of the period, with assists coming from sophomore Hailey Wood (Lethbridge, ALB) and freshman Jamie Lee Rattray (Kanata, ONT). Just 2:44 later, freshman Carly Mercer (Exeter, ONT) picked up her third goal of the season as Melissa Waldie (Newmarket, ONT) picked up a point with an assist.

Darmouth tallied another power play goal midway through the third period, pushing the game to overtime. Once in the extra session, Baribeau earned her sixth goal of the year with just 1:13 left in the contest, with Waldie picking up her second assist. Waldie is Clarkson's second all-time leading scorer with 112 (61-51) career points.

Freshman Erica Howe (Ottawa, ONT) made 33 saves in the victory, including five stops in overtime. Whitney Woodcox of Dartmouth made 26 saves. The Big Green had a 35-29 edge in shots and converted two of their six power-play chances, while the Knights went scoreless in three extra-skater opportunities.
