Box Score The scoring drought continued for the Clarkson University Hockey team in New York's Capital District region on Saturday night as the Golden Knights suffered their second consecutive shutout, falling to Union College 4-0 at Messa Rink in Schenectady.

The Golden Knights, who were blanked 5-0 at Rensselaer on Friday, suffered back-to-back whitewashes for the first time in 11 years. The Green and Gold finished the regular season with a 9-18-7 overall record and tied for ninth in the ECAC Hockey standings with an 8-11-3 league mark.

Clarkson, seeded 10th in the playoffs, will open the conference postseason at Brown next weekend, playing the Bears in a first-round, best-of-three game series.

Kevin Sullivan scored a second-period tally at 5:27 and added another goal, a power-play marker at 6:24 of the third. Josh Jooris closed out the scoring with the Dutchmen’s fourth goal with 2:40 remaining.
