Lane Runs Strong at IAU World Trail Running Championships

A standout for the Clarkson University Cross Country and Nordic Ski teams in the early 2000s, Amy Lane '01 Rusiecki competed for the US Team at the IAU World Trail Running Championships in North Wales on July 6.

Lane, who was selected to carry the flag for the US Team during the opening ceremonies, ran a strong race as the top USA female in the event. She placed 15th overall among the women with a time of 7:24:30 on the hilly 50-mile course.
