Just outside of downtown Norwood, the Clarkson University Women's Basketball team aided the international organization Habitat for Humanity in its efforts to repair a local home this past weekend.

On Saturday, Sepember 21st, thirteen members of the Golden Knights' Women's Basketball program helped in the initial stages of cleaning up the property and preparing the early worksite for a Habitat for Humanity home just off Route 56 in Norwood, NY. As the project moves forward, the program expects to be back at work throughout the process, volunteering their time and muscle to provide for the less fortunate.

Habitat for Humanity believes that every man, woman and child should have a decent, safe and affordable place to live. They build and repair houses all over the world using volunteer labor and donations. There partner families purchase these houses through no-profit, no-interest mortgage loans or innovative financing methods.
