John Coleman Earns NABC All-American Honors

The National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) announced today the 2015 NABC Coaches' Division III All-America teams. Selected and voted on by member coaches of the NABC in NCAA Division III, senior John Coleman of the Clarkson University Men's Basketball team was named a Second-Team All-American.

Coleman becomes just the fourth All-American in program history, joining Pete Ganley (1972), Bob Shepard (1959) and Dave Olmsted (1956).

Coleman, the Liberty League Co-Player of the Year and a two-time unanimous First-Team All-Star, was one of two players to earn All-East Region First-Team honors from D3hoops.com. The senior guard/forward was the conference's leader in scoring (17.1 ppg), field goal percentage (54.0%) and steals (2.0 spg) and finished his four-year career as Clarkson's all-time leading scorer with 1689 points. Among all active players in Division III this year, he was ninth in career points, 23rd in field goal percentage (58.4%), 30th in scoring average (16.4 ppg), 23rd in rebounds (691), 10th in steals (219), 23rd in steals average (2.13 spg), and first in field goals made (752). He was also one of only 10 players in all of Division III with 1500 points and 600 rebounds.
