Clarkson Holds 5th Annual JB Memorial Golf Outing

Over 125 golfers participated in the Clarkson University Athletic Department's fifth Annual John Bradshaw (JB) Memorial Golf Outing on August 21. This was the Golden Knights' 10th fall golf outing and the fifth event held at the Potsdam Town and Country Club in the memory of the former Clarkson senior facilities and equipment manager.

On October 2, 2010, the Clarkson University Athletic Department and Potsdam community lost a friend, alumnus, colleague, and devoted Golden Knight supporter as JB passed away.

A 1982 graduate of Clarkson, JB was an enthusiastic backer of Golden Knights' athletics. He was a regular at Clarkson home games and numerous away contests, and volunteered his time as a penalty box attendant at hockey games at Cheel Arena. JB served for eight and a half years in the athletic department.

His easy-going nature and quick wit is certainly missed in the athletic department.
