After six of its last seven games on the road, the Clarkson University Women's Soccer team will play its first conference home game when undefeated William Smith comes to town.
 
Clarkson is 4-7-0 overall and 0-3-0 in the Liberty League. Clarkson is 4-6-0 overall this season and 0-3-0 in the Liberty League. Last weekend, Lauren Flynn scored her career-high eighth goal of the season against Vassar. With her 17 points this season, Flynn now has 42 for her career, tying her for sixth on Clarkson's all-time list. Flynn is also tied for second all-time in career goals scored with 19. Her 34 combined points in the past two seasons are the most for a Clarkson player since Shannon McCann notched 44 between the 1994 and 1995 seasons.
 
William Smith is 10-0-0 this season with a 3-0-0 Liberty League ranking and are ranked second in the country. The Herons have the highest scoring offense in the conference, averaging four  goals a game. Kara Shue is the leading scorer for William Smith, with 24 points on nine goals and six assists, all of which lead the conference. Clarkson is winless in 29 games against the Herons. However, in 2014, which was the last time Clarkson hosted William Smith, the Golden Knights almost pulled off the upset, falling in a narrow 1-0 contest.   
 
The two teams will meet at 3:00 pm on Saturday on Hantz Turf Field.
