Careccia Picked for United Soccer Coaches All-East Honors

Sophomore Camryn Careccia became the first Clarkson University Women's Soccer player to earn an all-region selection since 1995 when the United Soccer Coaches organization picked her for NCAA Division III All-East Third-Team honors on Tuesday afternoon.

Careccia joined Shannon McCann, who was picked as a First-Team NYSWCAA All-Star in 1995, as the only Golden Knights to earn an individual all-region honor.

Careccia was chosen as a Liberty League Second-Team All-Star in 2017, tying for fourth in the league in goals scored (8) and for seventh in total points (17). Three of her goals came in league play, tallying scores against Ithaca, Skidmore and St. Lawrence.

Through 33 career games, Careccia has scored nine goals and added three assists for 21 points, placing her in a tie for 23rd all-time in points at Clarkson through just two seasons. Her nine goals are also tied for 15th all-time in the program's 36-year history.
