James Homan Earns United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-East Honors

For combined excellence on the pitch and in the classroom, junior James Homan of the Clarkson University Men's Soccer team was selected by the United Soccer Coaches as an NCAA Division III Men's Scholar All-East Region Third-Team All-Star when the organization announced its picks on Thursday afternoon.

A two-time Liberty League All-Star, Homan boasts a 3.82 grade-point average in Engineering and Management through five semesters at Clarkson University. One of the conference's best in the back row, Homan was selected as a Liberty League Second-Team All-Star in his junior season. He also discovered some offensive touch in 2017, scoring his first two collegiate goals on headers during the final 10 days of the regular season, including the overtime game-winner against Rensselaer.
