CU Women's Soccer Preview - vs. Skidmore College (9/26)

Back at home following a conference opening win over Ithaca, the Clarkson University Women's Soccer team will be back in action at 4:00 pm on Tuesday afternoon, taking on Skidmore College at Hantz Turf Field.

LIVE STATS/LIVE VIDEO

The Series: Skidmore has an overwhelming lead in the all-time series with 19 wins and three ties in 23 meetings, but the two teams have been close in recent years. Only one of the last six games was decided by more than one goal, and last year's match up was a scoreless double overtime tie.

Key Stats for Clarkson (4-2-2, 1-0-0 Liberty League): If Camryn Careccia can get a shot off, she usually scores: the sophomore has scored six goals on just 13 total shots this season, and the only games in which she didn't score, she did not take a shot. Sophomore Elyse Green made eight saves in the double overtime tie last year.

Key Stats for Skidmore (2-5-0, 0-1-0 Liberty League): Following a pair of wins to start the season, the Thoroughbreds have fallen on tough times, dropping five straight by a combined score of 17-2. Emma Basso leads the team with four goals, but all of those were picked up in the opening weekend.
