At the midway point of the Liberty League season, the Clarkson University Women's Lacrosse team is looking to make a move up the conference standings and that final run of five league games begins on Saturday when the team takes on RIT at Hantz Turf Field.

The Series: The Golden Knights have three wins in 11 tries against the Tigers since the rivalry began back in 1999. Clarkson has won twice in the last five meetings, but RIT is on a two-game winning streak with a 13-9 victory in 2017 and a 10-8 win in 2018.

Key Stats for Clarkson (6-6, 2-3 Liberty League): Although the Knights entered the season with a strong returning offense, it has been two freshmen that have done the most damage in league contests thus far. Sydney Roderick ranks first in the conference in assists per game (2.42 apg) and is sixth overall in scoring (3.83 ppg) thanks to 17 goals and 29 assists for 46 points. Roderick leads the team in scoring with 18 points in league contests, while classmate Mia Petrone has the most goals for the Knights in league play with 12 tallies. Overall, Petrone is fourth on the team in goals with 21, behind Aubrey Borgesi (28), Katie Sergeant (24) and Jaid Baytos (24). Abby Collins has enjoyed plenty of success against the Tigers in the last two years, scoring four points in 2017 and totaling eight groundballs and five caused turnovers in her two seasons at Clarkson.

Key Stats for RIT (5-7, 3-4 Liberty League): Alanna Fallone ranks second in the conference in goals per game (3.42) and is third in points (4.33) with 41 goals, 11 assists and 52 points through 12 contests this year. She also is second on the team in groundballs (21), caused turnovers (13) and draw controls (34). The Tigers possess plenty of fire power besides Fallone as Olivia Africa (35 points), Meghan Donohue (33 points), Steph Darrell (28 points) and Krystyna Sterio (25 points) have all contributed to RIT's scoring output. Maddi Dillabough leads the team's defense and has been particularly strong in league games with 19 groundballs, 11 caused turnovers and 25 draws in seven Liberty League contests. Overall, she has 29 groundballs, 15 caused turnovers and 34 draws.
