The Series: The Golden Knights went without a run against Union in 2018, losing 2-0 and 5-0 at Scott Field. Clarkson swept the Dutchwomen in 2017 and the two teams split in both 2015 and 2016. In the first meetings between the two teams, Ithaca swept Clarkson 12-0 and 9-1 last year.

Key Stats for Clarkson (13-7, 0-0 Liberty League): Graduate student Raeanna Dunn leads the Liberty League in batting average at .463, and her .544 on-base percentage is third in the conference. She also has the top figure in hits (31) while ranking third in steals (10). Catcher Michele Winn is tied for the conference lead in home runs (4) and doubles (8) while ranking second in runs batted in (21). Her .379/.400/.682 batting line is one of the better figures in the conference, with her slugging percentage ranking first in the Liberty League. Senior Liz Caggiano's 22 runs batted in are the top figure in the conference and she, too, ranks among the league leaders with a .617 slugging percentage thanks to three home runs. Despite throwing more innings than any other team in the conference (135), Clarkson's trio of hurlers has given up just 20 walks while striking out 98 hitters. Freshman Olivia Zoeller is third in the league with 44 strikeouts in 51.1 innings while senior Sam Mennig owns a 32-to-2 strikeout-to-walk ratio and a 2.43 earned run average.

Key Stats for Union (5-8, 0-0 Liberty League): The Dutchwomen opened up at home their home schedule on Thursday with an impressive offensive display against Southern Vermont, scoring 25 times in just eight at bats. The team is hitting .282/.346/.345 overall, but that line was increased considerably by the games against SVU, as the previous 11 contests saw the Dutchwomen hit a collective .237/.309/.278 with just 11 extra-base hits, a figure nearly matched by the nine the team achieved on Thursday. Julia Boule is hitting .375/.422/.450 with 12 runs batted in while Julissa Malone has a .306/.390/.472 line with team-highs in runs (9), doubles (6) and steals (4). Makayla Koehler and Dana Dolinko have earned 12 of the team's 13 starts in the circle, with Koehler posting a 3.68 earned run average in 38 innings of work.

Key Stats for Ithaca (11-5-1, 0-0 Liberty League): The Bombers, ranked 13th in the nation in the latest poll, own a deep lineup with six hitters batting .300 or better. In fact, the worst slash line produced by that group would still be a solid .310/.365/.429. Alex Wright leads the way with a .440/.500/.600 batting line which includes 17 runs batted in and 10 runs scored, and Vanessa brown isn't far behind at .436/.492/.655. Annie Cooney is not one of the starters hitting .300 or better (.260), but she still has a team-best three home runs. In the circle, Beth Fleming has completed five games with three shutouts for a 1.57 earned run average and she also possesses an impressive 43-to-8 strikeout-to-walk ratio in 35.2 innings. Ithaca's other main starting pitcher, Haley Congdon also has a 2.75 earned run average in 35.2 innings of work.
