Unbeaten at home and on a four-game winning streak, the Clarkson University Women's Soccer team takes on Liberty League foe RIT on Saturday afternoon at Hantz Turf Field.

Live Stats/Live Video

The Series: The Golden Knights are just 7-25-2 all-time against the Tigers, though the last time the two teams met in Potsdam, the Golden Knights came away with a victory thanks to a goal from Madison Kather (assisted by current senior Camryn Careccia) in the 86th minute. The two teams met in the playoffs later that year, where the Tigers gained a measure of revenge with a 1-0 victory, scoring with just 26 seconds remaining in the contest. Last season, RIT picked up a 2-0 win at home.

Key Stats for Clarkson (7-1-1, 1-0-0 LL): Regionally-ranked by the United Soccer Coaches in the latest poll, the Knights have already matched last year's scoring output with 18 goals, and the Green and Gold are a little over halfway to the program mark for goals in a season (35) set in 1992. Clarkson's offensive effort is led by seniors Danielle Martin and Camryn Careccia, with each player having produced nine points thus far. Martin and Careccia are tied for the team lead with nine points on four goals and one assist each. Fellow senior Elyse Green has been excellent in the Clarkson frame this year, playing all 830 minutes in goal for the Knights with a 0.98 goals against average and .842 save percentage. Her fourth and most recent shutout against Cortland made her Clarkson's all-time leader in that category.

Key Stats for RIT (4-3-0, 0-1-0 LL): Also ranked regionally, the Tigers opened up conference play with a tough opponent on Wednesday, falling fourth-ranked William Smith, 2-0. Much like Clarkson, the Tigers are led offensively by a pair of senior standouts in Abbey Saia and Mia White. Saia leads the team with nine points on four goals and an assist, while White has accumulated eight points on three goals and two assists. Both players scored against the Golden Knights in last year's 2-0 win at Tiger Stadium in Rochester. Junior goalkeeper Alyssa Salls has started six games this season going 4-2-0 with a 1.00 goals against average and .829 save percentage with two shutouts.
