Following a 2-0 opening weekend start, the Clarkson University Women's Soccer team will look to keep rolling against cross-town rival SUNY Potsdam on Wednesday under the lights of Hantz Turf Field.

The Series: The Golden Knights are 20-8-4 against the Bears all-time and are 10-4-2 at home over the years. Dating back to the 2016 season, Clarkson is 0-2-1 against Potsdam, including a 2-1 loss to the Bears last season. Giulia Mahoney scored just 80 seconds into the game, but that was all the Green and Gold would get. Senior Camryn Careccia is the only other player on the current Clarkson roster to have tallied a point against the Bears, notching an assist back in 2016.

Key Stats for Clarkson (2-0-0, 0-0-0 Liberty League): Senior Danielle Martin led the Golden Knights offensive effort in the first weekend of the season with four points on two goals, doubling her scoring output from a year ago. Classmate Giulia Mahoney also produced a goal and assist on the weekend for three points. Senior Elyse Green was steady in goal for the Green and Gold in the opening tournament, posting a 1.00 goals against average and a .889 save percentage while posting her first shutout of the year against Brockport and the 19th victory of her career, the most in school history.

Key Stats for SUNY Potsdam (1-1-0, 0-0-0 SUNYAC): SUNY Potsdam enters the 2019 campaign without their top two scorers from a season ago, but the Bears still have plenty of offensive firepower. Lexi Dean and Mackenzie Bowen ranked third and fourth on the team in points last season, with Dean scoring 19 points (7-5-19) and Bowen adding in 13 points (5-3-13). Potsdam also returns its two top goalkeepers from a season ago. Gabby Hobika and Delphine Leonard split time for Potsdam, with Hobika going 6-2-1 in nine turns and Leonard posting a record of 8-2-0.
