In front of a crowd of 3673, the Knights were unable to solve the defense of St. Lawrence and dropped a 3-0 decision to the Saints.
St. Lawrence led after one period with a bad bounce goal when
Ethan Haider tried to play the puck behind the net but it squirted out and SLU was able to capitalize when Ashton Fry tapped it into the empty net at 2:13.  The Knights out shot the Saints 8-5 in the first period.
In the second period, Haider made 5 saves before being relieved by
Jacob Mucitelli who ended with 6 saves. Clarkson fell behind 2-0 when Justin Paul scored for SLU at 13:54 of the second from Buhl and McIntosh. Â
In the third the Knights had a goal waived off, but did get a power play in which they pulled the goalie for the extra attacker. At 18:12, Paul got his second of the game when he was able to clear the puck down the ice into the open net.Â
Brady Parker had relieved Mucitelli and finished with 2 saves.
The Knights had 7 power play chances but where unable to capitalize. The Knights killed off all 3 power plays for St. Lawrence. Â
