The Clarkson Golden Knights have played shut out hockey over the last 120 minutes and are now 2-1 in ECAC play as they host the Cornell Big Red tonight.
On Friday, Clarkson gained a 4-0 win over Colgate on the backs of a hat trick from
Alex Campbell and a 3 assist effort from
Noah Beck.
Anthony Callin was in on the scoring with a goal and an assist.
Cornell comes in after a 5-1 win at SLU last night. Cornell split last weekend, beating Princeton followed by a loss at Quinnipiac. Clarkson hosted the Big Red last season in what became an epic comeback, the Knights were able to score 4 goals in the last 4:52 of the game to tie and then win the shootout.
The Knights are led by
Noah Beck (4-8-12),
Ayrton Martino (0-10-10), and
Alex Campbell (5-1-6) offensively.
Ethan Haider has gone 2 games with out allowing a goal and the team defense has allowed under 20 shots in the last 3 games.
Tonight, fans are encouraged bring donations for the Potsdam Snack Pack program, who will be collecting before and during the game.
