The Series: The first game in the 2022-23 series between Bard and Clarkson was postponed due to injuries and illness for the Raptors, and at this point it does not appear as if the game will be made up, likely giving the Knights a free victory in the conference standings for playoff consideration. The Green and Gold beat Vassar in the first meeting between the two teams, as Clarkson completed an impressive second-half comeback to win 83-81.

Key Stats for Clarkson (6-8, 2-6 Liberty League): Just beyond the midway point of the season, the Golden Knights have some interesting trends on offense. Clarkson is 6-0 when it shoots better than 33% from the floor, and is unbeaten in five games when the team tops 60 points. The shooting percentage seems to be more key than anything, as Clarkson has done a good job of taking care of the basketball, owning the second-best turnover margin in the Liberty League at plus 3.50 turnovers per game. Clarkson has received solid performances from two freshmen in 2022-23, with Bella Doyle averaging just under a double-double at 8.2 points and 8.7 rebounds per game and Raelin Burns tossing in 7.7 points per contest, including double figures in five of the last seven games.

Key Stats for Bard (1-14, 0-8 Liberty League): The Raptors have struggled with turnovers in 2022-23, having committed 349 in 15 games, which is more than 23 per contest. The team has also struggled from the free throw line with a success rate of 50.3%. Thalia Grandinetti leads the team with 15.3 points per game, just a fraction of a point off the conference leader, Clarkson's Cassidy Dumont. Mae Redmond averages 9.3 points per game, but has missed the last three contests. The Raptors likely will be losing two extra games in the standings due to forfeitures from early January, as the team did not make the trip to play either Clarkson or St. Lawrence. Bard has lost each of its conference games by 20 points or more, with the closest game being a 20-point defeat against Liberty League leader Ithaca College.

Key Stats for Vassar (10-7, 7-3 Liberty League): The Brewers will be looking for some revenge against the Knights on Saturday, as the team coughed up an 18-point lead for one of its three conference losses. Vassar's forwards played well in the first meeting, with Caroline Siekman delivering 19 points and 7 rebounds in only 20 minutes and Bella Tawney going for 15 points and 8 rebounds in just 17 minutes. Alex Lee leads the team in scoring with 10.1 points per contest, and she is followed closely by Julia Harvey (8.8 ppg) and Sierra McDermed (8.5 ppg). Eliza Srinivasan procures across the board with 5.9 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 4.7 assists per game.
