The Series: Clarkson suffered its first loss against RIT since 2018 last year, a 15-9 defeat at Hantz Field. The Golden Knights are 5-9 all-time against the Tigers.

Key Stats for Clarkson (8-3, 3-2 Liberty League): As has been the case for most of 2024, attention is on Madelynn Barnum and Julia Lavarnway, as the pair continues to chase program thresholds that few have surpassed. Barnum became the fifth player in program history to score 50 goals in a season and needs just four more to set a new Clarkson standard. She is also just one point shy of 200 for her career, which would make her the fifth in team history. Lavarnway needs just three more assists to reach 100, a number only two other Clarkson players have achieved. Lavarnway is also only nine points shy of 200. Unsurprisingly, the two are the focal points of the Clarkson offense, ranking first and second in the Liberty League in points per game, with Barnum topping the conference in goals and Lavarnway the leader in assists.

Key Stats for RIT (5-6, 1-5 Liberty League): After Wednesday's overtime loss to University of Rochester, the Tigers are in desperate need of a win for any semblance of hope for a Liberty League playoff spot. The offense was clicking against the Yellowjackets as the team scored 19 goals. Serafina Kiselgof is the team's top offensive performer with 52 points (42-10-52) and the team has three other players who have topped 20 goals already. Carissa Hlywa (22-15-37), Morgan Nichter (22-10-32), and Lily DePalma (21-7-28) have each shown they are offensive threats as well. Katherine Killian is the do-all player in the middle for RIT, leading the team with 65 draw controls, 30 groundballs, and 18 caused turnovers.
