The Series: Although St. Lawrence leads the all-time matchup with an overwhelming 42-6 advantage, Clarkson has won six of the nine meetings since the 2015 season. However, the Saints have won the past two meetings, winning 18-16 in 2022 and 15-12 a year ago.

Key Stats for Clarkson (8-6, 3-5 Liberty League): Graduate student Julia Lavarnway and senior Madelynn Barnum carried the Golden Knights' offense this past weekend, scoring or assisting on 13 of the team's 15 goals against Union and then assisting on all four goals against Skidmore. The two are on the top of the leaderboard in points per game and also lead the conference in goals (Barnum, 58) and assists (Lavarnway, 42). Barnum has maintained a spot in the top 10 in the Liberty League in points per game, goals per game, groundballs per game, caused turnovers per game, and draw controls per game. She is joined in the top 10 in caused turnovers and draw controls by teammates Rylee Ganter (21 caused turnovers) and Hailey Millington (draw controls).

Key Stats for St. Lawrence (3-11, 2-6 Liberty League): Neve Ley ranks third on the team in scoring with 23 points on 18 goals and five assists, but she was a key part of the Saints' win against Clarkson a year ago when she notched six points on five goals and an assist. Ley has also provided steady contributions across the board for St. Lawrence, ranking among the team leaders in groundballs (23), caused turnovers (13), and draw controls (23). Haley Sundstrom leads the conference in caused turnovers per game (2.36), just ahead of Brigette Gable (2.18). One issue that has held the Saints back this year is a deficiency on draws, as St. Lawrence trails its opponents by 70 (205-135) in that category in 2024.
