After a stretch of seven games out of conference, the Clarkson University Women's Soccer team opens Liberty League play this week, traveling to take on Skidmore College on Wednesday afternoon.

The Series: The Golden Knights are just 3-21-6 all-time against Skidmore, but the results have been considerably better over the past five years. Clarkson is 2-1-2 since the 2019 season, including a 2-0 victory over the Thoroughbreds in 2023.

Key Stats for Clarkson (3-3-1, 0-0-0 Liberty League): With an assist on Saturday against Cortland State, Chloe Hodge entered the top five all-time on the Golden Knights' career scoring list with 14 goals, 17 assists, and 45 points. She is tied for ninth all-time in goals, is second and just one off tying the career assist mark, and is by herself in fifth in total points. This season she has a goal and four assists for six points, ranking third on the team in scoring behind sophomores Emma Robinson (4-0-8) and Callie Abel (3-1-7).

Key Stats for Skidmore (5-0-1, 0-0-0 Liberty League): Although a few different goalkeepers have played for the Thoroughbreds in 2024, Avery Rogers has the best numbers, including a .900 save percentage and 0.44 goals against average with three shutouts in five games. Offensively, Skidmore's Ella Stone leads the league in both goals and points with eight goals and an assist to make it 17 points Abby Lewis is also among the leaders (3-3-9) while Elianna Caporusso tops the conference in assists with five.
