The Series: Clarkson has not beaten Ithaca since the Bombers joined the Liberty League, going winless in 12 tries. The Knights haven't won in their last six meetings versus Union, last beating the Garnet Chargers in the second matchup of the 2019-2020 season.

Key Stats for Clarkson (5-8, 1-5 Liberty League): Already ranking seventh all-time at Clarkson in field goals made (433), senior Cassidy Dumont recently passed 1100 career points and is eyeing the seventh and possibly the sixth spots on Clarkson's all-time scoring list as soon as this weekend. She enters Friday's game with 1107 career points, 25 short of a tie for seventh and 32 shy of a tie for sixth. Though she has never qualified for the Liberty League leaderboard in free throw percentage, Dumont is shooting 84.5% from the line in her three and a half seasons with the Golden Knights.

Key Stats for Ithaca (5-7, 4-1 Liberty League): Few players in the Liberty League can match the production per minute of Elizabeth Majka, who is averaging 9.4 points and 4.4 rebounds per game in just 18.9 minutes per contest, having surpassed 20 minutes only four times all season. She has made more shots than any other player for the Bombers and would easily lead the conference if she had the makes to qualify. Majka has fouled out of four games, but has been better lately, recording two or fewer fouls in three of the past four games.

Key Stats for Union (8-5, 5-1 Liberty League): Already off to a solid start, the Garnet Chargers got a mid-season transfer from NYU and former Division I player in Kate Peek. The junior transfer is averaging 9.7 points per game in her three games while still getting to know her teammates and the Union system, which ranks second behind Jelena Perovic, who is producing 12.1 points and 6.2 rebounds per game. Union leads the Liberty League in field goal percentage (39.5%) and 3-point field goal percentage (34.6%).
