Approaching the business end of conference play, the Clarkson University Men's Soccer team hosts the Engineers of RPI on Saturday at Hantz Field. Clarkson occupies the #5 spot in the Liberty League while RPI sits at #7 as both teams have just four games left to play in the league.

The Series: RPI leads the all-time matchup between the schools with a 32-22-7 record. The Knights have accumulated an 0-4-3 record since the last win in a 2-1 overtime victory in 2017. Zach Shufelt scored a second-half goal in a 1-1 tie last year. 

Key Stats for Clarkson (5-3-3, 2-2-1): Last weekend the Golden Knights allowed two goals for just the second time this year, in a 2-2 stalemate with Bard. Paul Rolland scored both goals for Clarkson including a free-kick with less than 30 seconds left in the contest. The sophomore leads the offense with four goals and two assists for 10 points overall. With just nine goals allowed over 990 minutes, senior goalie Carter Kladstrup ranks 36th in the nation with a .830 save percentage. 

Key Stats for RPI (3-4-5, 1-1-3): The Engineers are coming off their first loss in league play following a 1-0 defeat at Skidmore on Wednesday. Landon Bradley and Thomas Corcoran lead the frontline on nine points, with four goals and one assist each. Noah Churchill has played in 10 games so far in net, accumulating just over 880 minutes and a 0.618 save percentage but sophomore Antonio Spina has started and finished both of the team's last two contests, going 180 minutes while posting a 0.818 save percentage.
