The Series: Clarkson rallied for a 21-8 advantage in the fourth quarter to claim an 81-72 victory over William Smith in the first meeting, the most points that the Golden Knights have scored in the past two seasons. The Green and Gold were not so fortunate on offense the first time around against RIT, mustering 40 points in a loss against the Tigers.

Key Stats for Clarkson (7-12, 3-9 Liberty League): Bella Doyle was within striking distance of a triple-double against William Smith just a few weeks ago, scoring 18 points to go along with seven rebounds and nine assists in 30 minutes of game action. She leads the team in scoring (11.4 ppg), rebounding (7.1 rpg), and assists (3.5 apg), with the latter figure just a couple of helpers away from leading the Liberty League. Fallon Griffin's strong weekend has her with 39 3-pointers on the year, which is third in the conference.

Key Stats for William Smith (2-17, 2-10 Liberty League): The Herons' offense is led by Amelia McCulley, who is averaging 11.0 points per game, though it was Molly Walsh who had a season-high 14 points against the Knights the first time around (6.5 ppg). William Smith shot 10-for-25 from beyond the 3-point arc against Clarkson, its best showing of 2024-25, though the Herons are shooting only 23.9% from deep in 19 games this season. The Herons are also last in the Liberty League in scoring defense as the opposition averages 71.8 points per game.

Key Stats for RIT (11-7, 9-2 Liberty League): The Tigers have produced quite a turnaround from a year ago when they went 9-17, thanks in large part to some newcomers to the program. Caroline Henderson leads the Liberty League in 3-point field goal percentage (43.4%) and has 56 3-pointers made overall, 14 more than any other player in the conference. Sophomore Maddy Ramsgard is tossing in 12.3 points per game and leads the league in field goal percentage (50.3%). Ben Kayser-Cochran has also excelled in the opening year at RIT, averaging 10.0 points and 5.3 rebounds per contest.
