Conley Burns Selected Liberty League Rookie of the Week

In her first collegiate outings this past weekend, Conley Burns of the Clarkson University Volleyball team stood out for her performance in Ohio and she was rewarded by the conference on Monday when she was picked as the Liberty League Rookie of the Week.

Burns hit .231 from the outside and averaged 3.08 kills per set over the course of three matches. Against 16th-ranked Marietta, she notched eight kills in a four-set loss Friday evening. She then followed that up with an 18-kill effort against host Mount Union on Saturday morning, and closed out the weekend with 14 kills versus Denison.

Sophomore Olivia Baxter was also picked for the Liberty League Honor Roll this week after averaging 6.00 digs and 0.46 aces per set.
