Clarkson finishes up non league portion of schedule at Niagara

Clarkson will make the trip to western NY for the 3rd time this season for their final non conference game of the season at Niagara University.  

Clarkson comes into the game winners of their last 4 and 5 of their last 6, are looking to continue the success that they built in December.  The success last 4 games is in part to the help that the young players are starting to provide on the score sheet.  Freshman accounted for 13 of the 30 total points in last 3 wins, and 19 of the 30 total points came from the Freshman and Sophomore classes.  Owen Van Steensel leads all first year Knights in points with 12 and leads the team in goals with 7.

Niagara, coached by former Clarkson Assistant Coach, Jason Lammers, is 7-9 on the season.  They have wins against the USNTDP and RIT, and lost a pair to Union and RPI each.  Niagara also has a win over SLU, which Clarkson will face later this month. 

Ryan Bottrill was named the Bluebird ECAC Forward of the Week for his 2 goal performance against RIT last week.
