Kelly Priestley was a member of three Clarkson varsity women's teams from 1977-81. A top singles player for the Lady Knights' tennis team in the fall and an offensive threat at attack for Clarkson' women's lacrosse team I the spring, Priestley enjoyed her greatest
Athletic success as a hockey player for the Clarkson's women's team in the winter.
Priestley, a mechanical and industrial engineering major, was a high-scoring forward for head coach Ron Frazer's Blazers and helped to lead the team to a 45-25 -1 record during her four-year career. The second all-time leading scorer in Clarkson women's hockey history, the Northfield, Vermont native accumulated 140 points on 93 goals and 47 assists in 71 career games. She was also a team leader, serving as co-captain of the women' hockey and lacrosse teams in her senior year.
In the 1981 lacrosse season, Priestley closed out her collegiate athletic career scoring seven goals and seven assists in seven games. She was honored at the 1981 Varsity "C" Club banquet as Clarkson's Outstanding Female Senior Athlete.
The Clarkson University Athletic Hall of Fame was founded to honor and perpetuate the memory of those individuals who, either through participation, support or interest have made outstanding contributions to Clarkson athletics, and who have helped to bring recognition, honor and distinction to the University. It is with great pride that Clarkson inducts Kelly Priestley into the Athletic Hall of Fame.
